Operative / Labourer (Sports)

Description:

We are looking for an experienced general sports operative that can undertake a range of tasks. The ideal person will have at least 3 years’ experience of working on specialist renovations across an array of natural turf pitches.

Responsibilities:

• Sand spreading
• Scarifying
• Verti draining
• Grass cutting
• Navigating to our multiple sites
• Preparing machinery
• Competent, experienced tractor operator

Experience

• Knowledge of sports pitch renovations
• PA1 &PA2 Spraying Certificate desirable, but not essential
• Experience with natural turf maintenance
• Good customer relationship
• Keen eye for detail
• Full drivers’ licence
• Working under own supervision or within a team
• Must have a valid driving licence
• Competent, experienced tractor operator
• Previous experience in general grounds maintenance duties
• Good knowledge of Health and safety

Qualifications:

NVQ 2 in Greenkeeping / Sports (desirable not essential)
